I've read all of Sophie's books and loved them but so far I find the "Twenties Girl" the best!!
It's the first time I ever laughed out loud and also cried reading a book. I wish even I could have a guardian angel like Sadie. I finished reading it yesterday but its still all on my mind. I jst cant stop thinking of all the fun Lara and Sadie had. I felt a part of the story too. Keep up the great work Sophie. I love your imagination.

Thank you so much for writing Twenties Girl. I've only just got into reading about two years ago. Quite sad i know, considering i'm nearly 45! But this is one of my favourite books to date. It made me laugh out loud but also made me sob buckets. I think everyone would benefit from reading this book, as i'm sure it would make them a better person. I will never look at the elderly in quite the same way ever again. Once again, thank you Sophie and congratulations on your joyous news. Love Heather. XXX

Dear Sophie,
I am a great fan of you and your books, especially the Shopaholic series. But I was so disappointed after I saw the movie, that I am actually thinking of making a new Shopaholic movie nothing like P.J. Hogan directed it. I was hoping to watch all my favourite scenes like the one in which Luke proposed to Becky and Danny making Becky's dress. Becky's bridesmaid dress was a disaster and Suze didn't select it. Danny made it for her. I was angry, disappointed, shocked and sad. I thought that it would be made into sequels. I hope a new Shopaholic movie would come and each book would be a separate movie. All the same, I love you and your books, Sophie. Waiting for even more exciting books of yours.

Hi Sophie - I have read several of your books and enjoyed each one but I think you have surpassed yourself with Twenties Girl, I was totally lost in another world. I gave it to my neighbour to read and she also really enjoyed it. I too, agree with another one of your readers that this is begging to be made into a film it is such a good story. Really looking forward to your next book, keep them coming.

I agree with Alicia for two reasons; first, the movie didnt translate the novel's charm... something was spacing it out, the actors maybe, i honestly can tell. Second, in general watching a movie adapted from a novel u've read and loved wouldnt match the way u as a person have imagined it if not totally drift from the idea u had in mind... but i still do have high hopes on this one... if twenties girl was given the perfect setting, and the right actors... a potentially amazing classis can be born... :)

I am looking forward to reading on about Becky and her little daughter "Minni".

i have just finished twenties girl but i have to disagree with the comment above because i was a little disappointed with the shopaholic movie i cried at the end because Lukes meant to propose at Suzys wedding with the bouquet which is one of my favourite parts in all the books and A. I don't think Becky would sell her bridesmaids dress and B. Suzy would never be like that to Becky :( I love shopaholic it was like the first proper novel I ever read and I fell in love with it! is it true there's going to be a new book called mini shopaholic!!! god I love all your books your a great writer!! love Alicia .xx

Dear Sophie,

I've just finished reading Twenties Girl (given that I havent read a book in 5 yrs). It's title caught my eyes and I am glad it did... I found myself getting hooked up with the characters and I can only imagine the connection you feel with these characters that I, a random reader, have grown fond of. The reason I'm writing is to pass on a urging thought which is turning this book to a movie as it is begging to. Being an honest true freak of the silver screen makes me feel that this plot can turn to an all-time classic... :)
